Oh man! i dunno if its the effect of inflation brought forward or my late reactions of the increase in GST…

My favourite Ice Lemon Tea at S-11 now costs $1.40 instead on $1.20… although onli 20cents increase. but on the percentage side its a sharp increase of 20% so sad~

This is still not tt bad~ the newest hot topic of price increase is luncheon meat~ costing one dollar plus in the past has now increased to $2+….

And our government havnt done much to keep the price inflation in control…..

I juz read an article in todayonline.com

Inflation might rise up to a 5% growth hitting a 25yr high. Due to a huge jump in CPI, because values of homes are going up coupled with food and fuel prices rising at the same time. And not forgetting the pass through effect of the GST hike in this yr july.

Well on the good side is~ in the upcoming Budget in Feb 2008, there might be generous conservancy and utilities rebate for HDB flats. And tax collection this yr is huge and surpasses the projections. MAS may also help to appreciate the S$ faster so as to contain inflation.

So wat are we in for the next yr? hmm… more taxes? or more rebates? i’ve a feeling tt its gng to be more taxes, increased expenses. So guys~ ask fer a good increment that can well cover over the inflation~ haha~

i’m sick~ dunno from where did i got the new flu virus~ from  tues till now~ still having the flu~ although i’m much betta already as in able to work~ not having that running nose~ but den i’m still havin tt pain throat and keep sneezing non-stop~ yah~ doc say this is the new flu virus~ and its much stronger~ i’m finishing my antibiotics soon~ dunno will recover by den or not ? den my doc also go hols liao~ haiz~

i’ve booked my tix fer hols in dec~ will be gng gold coast with my bf and his sisters. i’ll be taking unpaid leave~ so heartpain. But no choice lei~ no leave liao~ hmm…. mayb besides pay negotiation~ shld include leave negotiation. I tink i shld go hols every 3 months. i know wat i enjoy most le~ going hols~ see scenery~ gng shopping~ and eating lots of foods tt sg dun have~

but after this hols~ i will have to seriously start saving and hoarding again to build my nest up again. hopefully can set aside 2k to go HK in june for the sales and to find my 2nd uncle.
